What was the first major purchase you made with your own money?
My answer:
Misha! Mum helped me a bit but I paid most so, at least in practical terms, I’m his owner. I’ve never regretted that purchase, obviously, and generally, I think it was the best one in my life.

My Inner MishMash 
I bought a 26 inch TV and VCR on layaway when I was 17 and paid every cent myself. I couldn’t bear having to be in the living room to watch TV with my parents always bickering. That TV lived for over 20 years, so well worth the expense.

Aww, a kitty purchase is wonderful!!
My first purchase was of the video game DK64 (Donkey Kong for the Nintendo 64). I loved that game!! I wish they had it for Wii.
