Question of the day.

Fire, Earth, air or water elemental?

My answer:

I remember that I once took some sort of an elements-based personality test or something, and it said I’m most like water, and I would agree with it. But then I am an Aquarius and that’s apparently an air sign. I don’t feel much like an Aquarius though, maybe apart my curiosity. I feel some sort of a liking to all of the elements, but I guess water and fire most of all, hugely because they are my synaesthetic associations with a lot of things and people I feel a close connection to.

How about you? 🙂

    1. Haha exactly, that was what I was wondering about too! That doesn’t make much sense with the Aquarius, the Polish word for it is also related to water closely. But I guess they needed harmony in the signs so that there is an equal amount of them for each element. 😀

  1. I’m a Taurus, which is an earth sign. It supposedly means I’m grounded, like stability, and have an easygoing nature… until something really upsets me, and then I’m up and charging. [Nods.] I can see that. Astrology fascinates me!

    1. Yes, many aspects of astrology can be very fascinating, although I try to have a distance to it, and I find it mostly a good tool for things like analysis of people’s personalities or behaviours or something rather than looking at the future as most people do, you really have to be a skilled astrologist to predict things, and I have an impression there aren’t actually many such. 🙂

      1. Oh yes, genuine psychics are few and far between!! Yeah, I think with astrology, the future predicting is limited to dynamics. For example, “Conflict will arise within close relationships due to such-and-such being in your chart,” seems valid enough to me, but it’s not all that specific or even applicable, if that makes sense. But yeah, any psychic who can take it to the next level will totally impress me.

    2. That is a very valid thing indeed and makes sense to me. I also believe that it can predict near future to some degree, namely the way the planets – especially our Sun and Moon – affect us on a daily basis, affecting to some degree the way we feel or perceive things during particular moon phases or such. It’s a short-lasting influence though, I think, and not as strong as some people seem to think.
