Olive James – “Head Above Water”.

This is another quite new discovery to me. Olive James are an American folk pop duo consisting of Jake Etheridge and Olivia Rudeen. I had a listen to more of their music but this song is the only one that I actually truly like, I hope you can enjoy it too. 🙂

Song of the day (30th November) – Aslaug – “In My Head”.

Aslaug is a very new artist to me, but I quite like all her music. She lives in the Netherlands as far as I know, and is half Dutch and half Icelandic. And here’s the song from her that I heard first.

Song of the day (6th January) – Josefine Myrberg – “Head Over Heels”.

I got to know this girl’s music some time ago, pretty recently, and it started with this song. It got stuck in my brain for days after I listened to it! I oftentimes don’t like very catchy songs, because they tend to be so uncomplicated and just don’t bring anything with them, however that’s not a rule and I do like some. I do like this one too. I guess mainly for Josefine’s voice, which is so strong and a little hoarse, I like it. Josefine Myrberg is Swedish and she became known after taking part in the Swedish edition of the show “Idol”.
