Hi people! 🙂
Do you wear clothing with prints/patterns?
Yes. I may not know about all my clothes which ones do have prints or patterns and which not, but generally if something has some sort of print I like to know what it is so that people don’t think I’m someone I’m not just because of a print I have on my T-shirt. My Mum had such a situation once where she had a rather vulgar writing on some clothing item which was in English and she had no idea about it. It wasn’t a problem for her overall but she was very unpleasantly surprised, which I can understand, because regardless of whether you’re okay with swearwords on your clothes or not, it’s always better to be aware. Or I had a blind friend who had a T-shirt she liked very much because of how it felt and fit her, only it had a picture of a band she didn’t like, well maybe not like she actively didn’t like it but just definitely didn’t care about it, and she only realised it had a print when she went in it to school and everyone kept asking her whether she likes them and why or just assumed she liked them and said that they do too or they don’t so how dare she like them. 😀 I think it’s good to know what you’re promoting, lol. My most favourite T-shirt that I have with a pattern is the “Purr” one, I’ve often mentioned on this blog that I got from Sofi, which is very warm and the “purr” print is made of some sort of plush and is tactile.
How about you? 🙂
Which colours make up most of your wardrobe?
It’s mostly my Mum who gets clothes for me, or as I say, is my stylist, which is easy and comfy because we both have mostly very similar styles, and also like similar colours. It’s also convenient because sometimes when I just need one or two clothing items I don’t have to go to a shop, but when my Mum is going somewhere else she can easily choose the right things for me, it matters because I loathe clothes shopping, it’s sooo overwhelming and soooo boring. So, because of this, I don’t always remember what colour all my things are, and I probably wouldn’t remember all of them anyway, and some that I wear less often I just don’t know what colour they are. Generally though, in terms of colour, it’s very similar to how my Mum’s wardrobe looks like – you open it and see blackness! – I love black, I feel good in it, I think it fits me and I hate stupid folks who assume I’ve lost someone and daftly ask me “Did something happen in your family?”. Even if so, I’d tell you first if I’d want. So that’s the only downside of wearing black. But it’s really such a practical colour and people say I look good in it. I wear a lot of grey which I love too, especially when I stay at home, then if I can I wear as many grey things as possible so that me and Misha look very similar. Grey is just so homely and cosy. I would like to wear more white, which is also one of my favourite stuff, but it’s not practical and Mum says it doesn’t look to well on me usually as my skin is very pale, Zofijka apparently looks gorgeous in white, she’s quite a Nordic type but has a darker (and way more tanned most of the time) complexion than me. But I have lots of blues, especially the turquoise shade or similar, and I love blue too. I also have quite a few purple things, purple is okay though I’m not very crazy on it, but apparently it fits me very much. As you can see, it’s mostly cooler colours, from the warmer ones I have two fuchsia skirts and some pink-ish stuff, I hate red and I would never put it on myself (consciously, of course), apart from one T-shirt I have that is red and has “Purrr” written on it in tactile letters on some sort of a velvety material, this one I love. So, in short, that’s it.
How about your wardrobe? And which colours, in your view, fit you best? 🙂
How often do you shop for clothes? How would you describe your style, and where do you like to shop?
I shop for clothes as rarely as possible. I dislike the atmosphere of most clothes shops, and I always feel exhausted after clothes shopping. I get some of my clothes online, also my aunt who is roughly similar size as me and very indecisive about what she likes sometimes gives some of her clothes to me and if I like them, I wear them too. I don’t like the chain shops usually as they are so boring and lacking individuality. There is an outlet shop close to where I live and the lady who runs it has lots of gorgeous clothes, my Mum is friends with her and buys stuff there for herself and for me. Sometimes if I need some particular clothing my Mum buys the fabric and goes to the dressmaker. As for my style, I like darker/more toned colours, I don’t like wearing something just to look well, it has to be comfortable above all. Ideally I like to be both elegant and comfortable. I like wearing dresses, or leggings. I have a lot of a bit vintage clothes that I like. But my most favourite clothing item at the moment is my purr T-shirt, the one I showed you some time ago, and I would most happily wear it all the time. My Mum is my stylist, and because we have mostly similar styles, we get along here.
How about you? 🙂
OK so now let’s see if this question goes through in one piece, I really hope it will unlike yesterday. 😀 Today’s question is simple and uncomplicated, I guess. Here goes.
Do you wear any clothes that require dry cleaning?
No, I don’t. I did in the past, but now I don’t, unless I don’t remember something.
What do you wear when you go to bed?
Usually pjs, sometimes nightdresses. I have one nightdress that has “Misha” printed on it. My Mum went to one of these machines where you can print out whatever you want to be written on your clothes and I wanted to have something with Misha’s name written on it. I thought something I wear at night would be the best because it is at night when I spend the most time with Misha.
