Question of the day (6th December).

If you had to choose another period from world history to live in, what would it be and why? Do you think you could survive in that time?

My answer:

We had a very similar question over a half year ago, so you can read

my answer here.

That earlier question didn’t include the bit about surviving, but I think I covered it in my answer quite extensively. It would certainly be super tricky to adapt, I seriously can’t imagine living without electricity and Internet, but I guess I’d get used to it over time and maybe would find good enough ways to compensate for that.

How about you? 🙂

  1. Hmmm…. I love the current age and am glad to be alive during it! But if we’re choosing another era, I’d go with… hmm… well, let’s go wild and say that I’d like to have lived on the lost continent of Lemuria. It has all these spiritual connotations. That, and ancient Egypt, too, for the same reason. I love spirituality, and there have been some times in history that seem to be linked to it! I seriously doubt I’d survive if I were to go there from here. I think I would survive if I were born into such a world! That makes such a huge difference!

  2. I seriously have no idea and honestly, no, there’d not be a significantly earlier time period than the current one that I’d survive, simply because incubators had only been around for like 40’ish years when I was born.

  3. I’d want to go back to the time before Canada was discovered and was an Indigenous nation. It’s the outdoor living and connection to Nature and spirit that I’d love to experience first hand. It’s the type of living that requires awareness and hardship, something that I’d love.
