Question of the day.

What is the simplest thing that makes you happy?

My answer:

I’ve said it many times before that Misha makes me happy, but one particular thing about Misha that makes me really happy is when he eats something he really likes. When he’s enjoying himself so much that his bowl is moving back and forth as he’s eating and he eats more noisily than normal and when he’s eaten, he rubs his head with his paw, as if he was stroking himself. When he does that, it means something was really really delicious. I just like when Misha is happy and it makes me happy too.

You? 🙂

  1. What makes me most happy is when my daughter is being silly and rambunctious and non-sensical. She went through a period during covid when this side of her personality was back-burnered. I am sooooooo happy to have her return to her playful self! Much easier to look life in the face when sense of humor is in tact….

  2. Awwww, Misha, what a sweet puss!! Who doesn’t love Misha?!

Hmm…. rainbow colors! Being surrounded by colors makes me ridiculously happy!! Well, I’d be happier now if my room were tidy, so I could better enjoy the rainbow walls, but oh well!! And yeah, it’s a simple thing! I still remember when I got the idea to remove the wallpaper (which I chose and liked, but after twenty years, it got old) and make each wall a different color! And there are over twelve walls (my room’s a giant plus-sign) and four gabled areas, so loads of colors!! YAY!

    1. Oh yes, everyone loves Misha, including people who don’t know him, it’s the default state of mind. Except my grandma, who has explicitly stated that she doesn’t really have much liking for him because “he looks like a mouse”. 😤
I’m glad you have plenty of colours around you to make you happy! 🙂

    1. Awwww sneezes! Never heard a guinea pig sneeze, actually, but it must be cute. I love Mish sneezes though. It sounds more like spraying something than sneezing, so we literally say with Sofi that he’s spraying happiness.
