Question of the day.

Would you rather bungee jump or skydive?

My answer:

Neither, no way! Both sound equally scary! If I were seriously forced to choose either, I just wouldn’t be able to. I’d rather be killed instead. 😀 I totally don’t get, at least on an emotional level, why it could be fun for some people. I think for me the experience of either would be quite traumatising. But for me even the concept of flying is pretty scary, let alone jumping or falling from a high altitude.

How about you? 🙂

      1. I was in my early 20s at the time. Skydiving was with a group of friends, and we did a tandem jump, meaning each of us was strapped onto an instructor. Bungee jumping was a cool setup – it was off a bridge over a river.

  1. Neither! Egads! I was more of a daredevil when I was fourteen and fifteen–I’d go up to the roof of our Victorian house, which had three floors above the basement. I’d literally swing out the window and back up the gables to the flat spot at the top. But… yeah, those days are gone! 😀 Scary!!

  2. I agree with you that either would be traumatizing, but if FORCED to choose, I would say skydiving. The mere thought of being attached to a bungee cord and jumping makes me swoon. At least with skydiving you have a large parachute to slowly ease you to the ground…gently. At least that is what I am telling myself.
