Question of the day.

Hi people! πŸ™‚

Is there a type of candy/dessert etc. you absolutely hate?

My answer:

Sure! Just as I love a lot of candy, desserts and stuff there are also such that I hate. I hate any kind of candy filled with alcohol, they’re gross. I hate strawberry-flavoured chocolate, in fact I dislike a lot of flavoured chocolates with fillings, plain milk chocolate or with hazelnuts or dark is best. I hate anything banana-flavoured. I hate marzipan. As I mentioned in response to Kacha’s comment in an earlier post, I hate tiramisu, anything with mascarpone really. That’s what first comes to my mind.

How about you? πŸ™‚

  1. I hate licorice of any flavor (except for how you can bite off both ends and make it a straw), and there are a lot of Jelly Belly jelly beans flavors that I don’t like at all! Buttered popcorn jelly belly beans–yucks! (This is probably also because you can’t pay me to butter my popcorn. Butter is really gross to me unless it’s a baked-in ingredient.) Uhhh… Hmm…. I’m not a fan of hard candy because it takes forever to eat and is hard on your teeth–like cavities–but I don’t passionately hate it. I never choose it, though. I really dislike peppermint candy canes because it’s just a dull flavor, but since they’re a hard candy, I rarely eat other-flavored ones either.

For desserts, I’m not a huge fan of traditional pies like apple, pumpkin, or pecan. I’ve never been a huge pie fan.

    1. I’m not a fan of licorice either, although I had it only once so perhaps if I gave it another chance I’d like it more, seems rather doubtful though.
Buttered popcorn jelly beans???!!! :O Yuck! I don’t mind buttered popcorn, although I typically never have mine with butter, but that sounds truly gross to me. I like most jelly beans but some can be quite spectacularly yucky.
I like a lot of hard candy and it’s just what I like about it, that you can eat it for long, haha.
