Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
My answer:
It really depends, but I guess it takes me a relatively short time compared to most people I know to read a book. Probably because I read more, because I have a possibility to read more, paradoxically. I read before falling asleep, after waking up, when riding/commuting, when I’m bored and have nothing else to do, waiting for anything, sometimes even when I’m eating a meal or having a bath or anything basic like that. And if something interests me, I can just sit with it until I finish it, or sometimes I will relish it as long as possible, though I rarely can read a book longer than a week, becauseI simply read too often and in too big chunks I guess.
How about you? 🙂
I think I may have finished books in one sitting on a few occasions, but normally it’s more drawn out.

I think it’s sometimes nicer this way when you read something over a longer period of time. 🙂

Ohh, I too used to read in the tub! What a thrill it was. That was back before I lost my focus with both books and baths! [Shrug.] What I’ve noticed, whenever I manage to read anything, is that the first half of the book takes a few sittings. Then, the second half of the book can be devoured all at once!!

Well I don’t read in the tub that often nowadays either, simply because I rarely have baths, and even if I do, they’re rarely long enough to get immersed in a book. Sometimes I have that thing too, that first half takes longer for me to read than the second, I guess it sometimes takes time to actually feel the atmosphere of a book and get absorbed.
