Question of the day.

What will you have for Christmas Dinner?

My answer:

Well when it comes to me I pretty much answered this question yesterday in the Share Your World post… OK, it was Christmas Eve dinner actually… but anyway, I don’t think Christmas dinner would be that different from Christmas Eve dinner, other than the fact that it will be probably earlier, not in the late evening, and with meat, because as you may know if you read my Share Your World post our Christmas Eve dinner is meatless. Unless we’ll go somewhere to the extended family and have dinner with them, but it also shouldn’t be much different. Pierogi, borsch, maybe some fish, maybe some salads, the previously mentioned paszteciki, I really have no idea if you have something like that in any other countries and I’m clueless as for whether there is some English translation for it, and other things like that.

So, how about you? 🙂 And, as we are at it, what is your favourite dish to eat for Christmas dinner? 🙂

  1. Not sure… I don’t really celebrate Christmas, though sometimes I get together with friends. Occasionally we go to a Chinese restaurant. We shall see. May be a good year for me to spend a day alone, writing and reflecting.

  2. We’ll spend the evening of the 25th at home and not doing much of anything. On the 26th though, we’ll be having a gourmet (is that what it’s called in English too?) with my in-laws. This involves a lot of meat and my husband is going to cook the veggies.
