Question of the day.

What is the last thing you drank?

My answer:

Kefir to lunch. Lots of kefir. I love kefir (if you don’t know it yet, I am afraid I said it too many times already). If you haven’t ever tried kefir, you definitely should, if you’ll get an occasion. I just feel with my whole brain for all those people who haven’t even drank kefir, and even more for those who have, and like it, but it’s not available in every single supermarket as it is here so they have to do a big research any time they want kefir. It wasn’t long ago that I’ve learned about this cruel reality in some countries. And that’s one of those big big reasons for which no matter how many favourite countries I may have, Poland will be always my MOST favourite. πŸ˜€ Swedes have fil mjΓΆlk, which is nice, but only a meek alternative to kefir. I couldn’t live like that. Am I a kefiroholic? What are the side effects of it? Well, to be honest, I don’t particularly care. So that means I probably am already addicted.

And you? I mean not whether you are addicted to kefir of course, but what was your last drink. πŸ˜€ Although if there are any fellow kefir addicts, I’ll be more than happy to read about your experiences. πŸ˜‰

  1. I never had Kefir… I’ve heard about it, but I don’t even know what it is πŸ˜› Can you describe it a little? As for my answer to your question, I just had water… and that would almost always be my answer to that question, because I ALWAYS have water with me… LOL

    1. Kefir is a fermented milk-based beverage and tastes quite similarly to a yoghurt drink, or buttermilk, it’s kinda creamy. You can make it of starter grains which contain yeasts, milk proteins and bacteria and because of those bacteria it’s a very good probiotic and even people who don’t tolerate lactose very well can drink it usually, and it’s generally considered a very healthy drink. If you’d ever get a chance to drink kefir, I can definitely recommend it to you, however I think most people either love it or hate it, rarely something in the middle.
Water is one of things I drink most often too, and when I get out of the house I definitely need a bottle with me too. πŸ™‚

  2. I googled kefir. EWWWWW!!! Gross!! Yuckerz!! (I hate milk!) Erckle!

Oh, hey, that reminds me. You love names, so you’ll love this: I like taking the name someone goes by (not their full name at birth, but what they’d put in their signature or on their social media account), and anagramming it. My name, Meg Kimball, = MILK GAMBLE. (Ha ha! Hence my disgust at milk!)

    1. Hehe, that is why I said people either love or hate kefir. My Dad’s reaction is the same as yours and he can’t get what we like in it. I don’t like milk as milk either though.
Haaahahahahaha milk gamble, brilliant! Your disgust is completely understandable. πŸ˜€
